DESCRIPTION:The Dedicated Fund on Branding\, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD Fund) provides funding support for Hong Kong enterprises in exploring and developing the Mainland and Free Trade Agreements (“FTAs”) and Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements (“IPPAs”) markets through developing brands\, upgrading and restructuring their operations and promoting domestic sales. The cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise has been raised to HK$7\,000\,000. To streamline the application process\, the “Easy BUD” was introduced on 16 June 2023\, simplifying the application form and supporting document requirements. The vetting process for “Easy BUD” has also been expedited\, cutting processing times to just within 30 working days. \nIn this T-box workshop\, the BUD Fund Implementer will present the “Easy BUD”\, covering application guidelines\, procedures\, and assessment criteria.
