Breakfast at Tiffany's? Luxury jeweller brings Blue Box Cafe to Singapore

Tiffany & Co is set to open its first Blue Box Cafe in Southeast Asia, with the dining concept slated to launch at the luxury jeweller’s revamped ION Orchard flagship store in mid-July.

According to a report by The Straits Times, the cafe will occupy the top floor of Tiffany & Co’s newly renovated triplex store and will be the first Blue Box Cafe in the region. The concept follows similar openings in cities including New York and Hong Kong.

The Singapore cafe’s menu is reportedly developed in collaboration with Julien Royer, chef-owner of Odette, and will blend American-inspired dining with French culinary influences and local touches.

The opening forms part of Tiffany & Co’s broader experiential retail strategy as luxury brands increasingly seek to create immersive lifestyle experiences that extend beyond traditional retail environments.

According to reports, the ION Orchard flagship recently underwent an extensive refurbishment and now reflects Tiffany & Co’s latest global store concept. The triplex boutique is the brand’s only store of its kind in Singapore and features a dedicated watch salon, private client spaces and curated artworks.

In addition, Tiffany & Co will also be hosting a public exhibition showcasing 20 archival jewellery and watch creations designed by senior vice president and chief artistic officer Nathalie Verdeille and inspired by legendary jewellery designer Jean Schlumberger.

Tiffany & Co joins a growing list of luxury brands that are expanding into hospitality and dining as part of their experiential retail strategies in Singapore. Earlier this year, Prada opened Southeast Asia’s first Prada Caffè within its ION Orchard flagship, bringing the Italian fashion house’s signature design language into a food and beverage setting.

Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet also launched the world’s first AP Café at Raffles Hotel Singapore as part of its AP House concept, extending the brand experience beyond watch retail through food, beverage and hospitality offerings.
