Dow Jones Futures Rise, Oil Prices Fall; Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Caterpillar Are Big Earnings Movers

Dow Jones futures rose modestly early Thursday, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures. Oil prices reversed solidly lower from overnight highs. Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL), Amazon.com (AMZN), Meta Platforms (META) and Microsoft (MSFT) topped views late but their stocks diverged.
